Lymphedema is a disease where the lymphatic system is not working optimally. Swelling occurs in the effected area, this could be an arm after breast cancer treatment or is could be something that has developed during a persons life.  The management of lymphedema can be uncomfortable and inconvenient. It involve bandages, lymph drainage and skin care. The goal is to keep the swelling and fibrotic tissue at a minimum.
